Finding an ear you can trust to listen to your story without fear of judgment or disappointment is difficult. When life throws curves, gives detours, or drops bombs, finding that ear becomes even more important. This is my gift to you: a safe place to talk about whatever you want without expectations. Together we will get to know you as YOU want to know you. At your own pace. Counseling is a journey and YOU are the destination.
I attended Evangel University from 1998 to 2000, and completed my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Memphis in December 2002. After a year or two gaining invaluable experience in the mental health field, I decided to return to my Alma Mater and pursue a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, I became the Children's Program Coordinator and Lead Children's Therapist at Daybreak Treatment Center in Germantown, TN. I completed my licensure requirements in 2011, and opened my private practice in 2014. I currently practice in Millington, TN, where I live with my husband and three young children, a dog, a cat, and a couple of chickens.
I'm a compassionate goofball at heart, believe coffee is life, love running and being active, and my family is my priority.
